Hello, my name is Sarah Hunt and I am a qualified Reiki Master Teacher with several years' experience of Reiki behind me. I offer Reiki treatments and workshops in the Usui/Tibetan systems of Reiki. I have treated and taught many people from all walks of life and many of my students are now Practitioners in their own rights.
I am a qualified nurse with 15 years' experience of nursing, the vast majority of that spent in the Hospital environment. Much of my time was spent working with patients who had been diagnosed with cancer, and from that I gained a lot of invaluable experience in counselling cancer patients, and their relatives. Throughout my career I have been involved in teaching groups of various sizes as well as on a one to one basis. I recently did my Return to Nursing Course and re-registered in May 2010. I have recently done some voluntary work as a Reiki Master in the hospice environment.
I gained the ENB 998 Teaching and assessing certificate during my nursing career, and had an article published in the nursing press called 'Moving forward by looking back'.
I still enjoy writing and have had articles regularly published in Bedford Wellness Circle's Ezine, and more recently in Kempston Calling, our local magazine. I also write articles for my blog.
I have a Crystal Healing Diploma which I gained in 2007 with the British School of Yoga; I use crystals with Reiki where I feel guided to.
In 2009 I was attuned to Master Teacher level of Karuna Ki Reiki, Celtic Reiki and Karmic Reiki, and more recently to Kundalini Reiki and to the Lemurian Seed Crystals. I am a Spiritual medium and have a psychic development diploma which I attained with the British School of Yoga in 2007. I offer readings using tarot and angel cards which I incorporate with my mediumship. These may be done by email or face to face. I also offer psychometry parties and tarot parties. In June 2009 I attained my PTLLS (Preparing for Teaching in the Life Long Learning Sector) certificate. I am now able to offer Meditation for Beginners, Meditation For Health, Using Crystals with Reiki, Reiki Meditation, Communication and Business skills workshops. I launched my Reiki Mentorship programme at the beginning of 2011 which I am currently further developing. The intention is that the Reiki Mentorship will help students to build their confidence, knowledge and skills with Reiki. In February 2012 I will be launching my Angel workshop called 'The New Golden Age; How Angels and other Divine Beings want us to work with them to heal the world'. I have been guided to run this workshop and am excited about the information that I have channelled for this workshop. More information will be added to my website as my workshops evolve. I have found through my Reiki Practice that I am sensing Past Lives where issues need to be healed from another life in order for the client to move forward in this life. I have had a keen interest in Past Lives for some years and have now completed the Advanced Diploma in Past Life Regression Therapy. I have also recently completed a Diploma in Past Life Energy Healing. This is a form of Past Life Regression which takes you into an even deeper state of relaxation in order to heal the past and lift your vibration. It is particularly for those already on a spiritual path who wish to clear the past in order to evolve more quickly spiritually.
I am a member of the Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI) and the Past Life Therapists Association.
For me Reiki is not just a journey, but a way of life! My students too are realising how powerful Reiki is as a way of life.
What do I do?I help people to find and release the root cause of their problem by channelling Reiki (Universal Life Force Energy) in order to redress the energy balance in their body. Reiki is a wonderful form of healing which allows the Reiki healer to access the Universal Life Force to heal the whole person.
I work with compassion and understanding to help people lead much happier lives. Reiki works in a gentle subtle way and can be used for a myriad of things including:

Emotional stress - Migraine

to name but a few.
Reiki works on all levels, i.e. spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical, and always goes to the root of the problem. Reiki will release the energy blocks in the correct order bringing peace, balance and harmony to your life.
Reiki only works on those people who want to be healed. Taking responsibility for your own healing is achieved by firstly by an energy exchange, usually in the form of money but it also means being willing to face the issues that Reiki brings to the fore and dealing with them so that you are then able to release whatever no longer serves you. Reiki complements orthodox medicine and will speed up the healing process. You do not have to believe that Reiki will heal you but it speeds up the process if you do! I have treated many sceptics who have come to realise the true benefits of Reiki.

I work from Bedford where I offer both therapy and tutoring. Bedford is easily accessed by train or road and is within easy reach of London and the Home Counties, Milton Keynes, Northants and Cambridgshire.
Availability for therapy sessions
I work from my healing room just south of Bedford, and am available for home visits. There is an additional charge for home visits to cover my petrol costs and the additional time that is needed. Please contact me to arrange an appointment.
My therapy room is situated within Safestore, Elstow Road Kempston Bedford MK42 8PL. There is ample parking available and all my treatments and workshops currently take place there.
Reiki Tutoring
I am qualified to teach all the systems of Reiki I am attuned to. However my focus is Usui / Tibetan Reiki from Reiki 1 to Master Teacher. This is because I believe it is important for all students to gain a good grounding in Usui Reiki before diversifying. Regular workshops are held in the Bedford area.
